Early in her career, Julia studied art and has worked as a publication art director, graphic designer, technical writer, and content designer for both web and mobile applications.

She has a BA from Ottawa University in business and technical communications and ended her corporate career in telecom IT as a business requirements analyst and project manager.

She has studied astrology since early college days and is an alumnus of Kepler College. She consults with clients, writes, and teaches. She is currently developing courses on astrology for the Cosmic Grammar School, offered through the Aquarian Organization of Astrologers in September 2026 to the Kansas City astrological community.
