Description:

An Astro Dream Journal is a valuable tool connecting us with natural cycles. By observing several factors including: waking activities, the planetary day and hour of the dream and recording this we have information from the dream as to how to work with these changes utilizing practices from the three sisters-Astrology, Alchemy and Magic. Astro Dream Journal examples involving Saturn and Pluto will be shared.

Biography:

Katherine O’Connell has been an astrologer for 60 years, a clinical psychologist, and an Interfaith minister. As a psychologist she has authored two books on recovery and the healing process, taught internationally at Graduate Schools and Medical Schools, both Allopathic and Chinese, and served as a health care policy consultant to a U.S. President. As a speaker she believes hope and joy are connected and a synergistic experience of these can be shared online or in person.

Saturn: The Anatomy of Fear

Description:

Many years ago in a very obscure book there was a system called Issue Charts. You place the planet that is the issue on the Ascendant and integrate the natal chart from the perspective
of Saturn. Saturn is often the archetype of fear and trepidation but how is there another way to break out of this pattern? Stathis explains this different view providing another perspective on Saturn’s often difficult delineation.

Biography:

Georgia Stathis is a renowned award winning astrologer, teacher, and author specializing in business and natal astrology since 1977. With degrees from Northwestern University and an MBA from Pepperdine, she brings a unique blend of academic rigor and astrological insight—especially in the realms of finance, investment, and real estate.

She’s the author of Business Astrology 101 and Pushing Through Time, and has taught at international conferences, Kepler College, and with Astrology Hub, where she’s one of the featured Academy astrologers. Georgia is also the founder of the Alexandria iBase Project, a global initiative dedicated to preserving and cataloging astrological literature.

Her work continues to inspire students around the world through her in-depth research, teaching, and popular newsletter at www.starcycles.com.

Simulation Theory

Description:

In this talk we will explore the compelling connections between the latest scientific TOE (or Theory of Everything), simulation theory, and several consciousness-related phenomena, including Vedic and Buddhist views on death and the afterlife, the Division of Perceptual Studies at the University of Virginia’s clinical studies of both children who can remember their past lives and adult near-death-experiences (NDEs), etc.

In my view, an open-minded yet rigorous study of these seemingly disparate traditions and phenomena leads the honest man or woman to at least investigate the possibility of the existence of a radically different paradigm for reality, a paradigm in which the universe is no longer seen as primarily physical, but instead digital, and whose acceptance would provide the most straightforward explanation as to why astrology works.

Biography:

Matthew Carnicelli has been a yogi, student of consciousness, and western transpersonal astrologer, for more than 40 years.  He has spoken both ISAR and UAC conferences in the past, and served as an appointed board member of ISAR for several terms.  He continues to reside in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York.
